Deer at Bent Tree

Mark has enjoyed the wildlife at Bent Tree as he has worked on the repair projects. Two buck deer have been staying close to the house. This 8-pointer and a 6-pointer spent the afternoon in sight of the house. These views were taken from the lower deck and from beside the house. He was about 50 feet from the house on the east side.

On the way down Chestnut Cove Trail we encountered this very tame doe. We see her nearly every time we go up and down the road. At least another two does also frequent that area.
