Thanksgiving 2005

We had a happy time of family gathering on Thanksgiving Day. With all the ladies contributing food, we certainly had a bountiful table.

We celebrated with a dozen people around the table. Top: Denise, Jordan, Sherry, Matthew, Jeff, Ashleigh. Bottom: Darnell, Stacy, Roger, Brenda, Elyse, Darla.

Darnell and Roger at the pool table. Matthew, Stacy and Rod also joined in the pool games, along with a little football watching.

The children seemed to enjoy everything, and they were certainly a blessing to us. Elyse is so busy learning everything!

Jordan enjoyed playing with her bears and dressing up. She and Ashleigh were also very active in exploring outside and riding their bikes.

Ashleigh lost the second of her top front baby teeth while she was here. She organized a dramatization of the manger and baby Jesus on the leaf pile in the front yard. Jeff and Darla were Joseph and Mary and Elyse for baby Jesus. Jordan and Ashleigh were shepherds with Ashleigh narrating.

Ashleigh and Jordan like having their faces painted by Aunt Sherry. Being painted as cats is one of their favorite things.

It's travel day and everyone is scurrying around with the packing process for the trip back to Pearl River.

Elyse is as busy as anyone, walking back and forth across the den with the walking toy under the watchful eye of Granddad.

All of us and Marty went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then they headed out. We were full of Thanksgiving for the time of family celebration.
