Awana Boys Overnight at Bent Tree

Near the end of our trip, we gathered on the dam for this group picture. Back row Joe Burkhardt, Stan Johnson, Kevin Bartlett. Front row: Logan Todd, Austin Todd, Johnny Huffman with Riley in front of him, Kaulin Brinson, Grayson Bartlett and Connor Smith.

We left the church at 6pm on Friday with six boys and five adults. Brenda had gone up to the Bent Tree house earlier and had prepared hot dogs and chilli for supper.

The boys settled in around the coffee table and card table with their hotdogs. Riley, Grayson, Logan, Connor and Kaulin.

After the kids are settled, the adults gather for supper.

As usual, the boys are very keen on playing UNO with Johnny. This was a fairly quiet group, focusing on UNO and their video games.

The night was beautiful and clear, so we did a night walk up Chestnut Cove Trail to look at the stars.
