Meeting Mary

We went to Charlotte for the SES Apologetics Conference, but before it we had two great blessings. We visited the Billy Graham Library and we got to have dinner with Mary and John Keefe.

We were delighted that Mary looked so well. We had prayed and worried about her all year. On October 11, 2012, Mary was diagnosed with lymphoma and on the day of last years's Alumni Day she was in the hospital and starting chemo .. something called hypercvac... aggressive treatment for mantle cell lymphoma. She underwent a stem cell transplant on March 6, 2013. She progressed well past that point and went back to work July 1, 2013.

It was a great blessing to spend time with her and John.
