The celebration was held at the Freeman Poole Senior Center and featured a dinner of Wallace barbecue. This follows a tradition of gatherings of the Class of 1959 in 2009, 1999, 1994, and 1979.

Brenda and Rob Thompson greet Betty Gray as she arrived for the celebration. She was their senior English teacher and class sponsor, and was our speaker for the evening. She joked about being 80 and reminisced about these class members who were born in 1941.
