Soccer Tournament

On Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28, the Pearl River High School girls soccer team participated in a tournament in Covington, about 45 minutes from home. We picked up Judy Moyle and drove up for the morning game.

Darla was on the sideline as Coach and Jeff Moyle was there - Lindsey was playing and is an outstanding player. The three teams they played were in higher divisions and more mature - Darla's team this year is very young. Tough games, but good training for them. This team they are playing is a Baton Rouge high school team.

I was on the sideline to take pictures. It won't be surprising that Elyse is in most of the pictures since Granddad was looking through the camera. She had a good game and was certainly active on the ball the whole game. But I'll start with other team members.

Lindsey Moyle gets off a powerful kick. She is a fine, active player and team captain. Coach Darla is at the right edge of the picture, and Jeff Moyle is a few paces to the right.
