Mark On Location With Car Stunt

Having finished with a movie project, Mark took a short term project as Location Foreman for another film project. One of the locations involved building a sign where the bottom half was made of balsa wood so they could crash a car through it.

He said they built three versions of that bottom half in case they had to do it three times. But they got in on the first run.

I was concerned about the extra work for the art staff to create three of those pieces with the graphics, but he said they printed three copies on paper and wallpapered them to the balsa wood.

Nowadays with all the digital cameras, he said they had cameras on this run from about five different angles.
