Hallelujah Amen

March 25, 2018

The Celebration Choir of Mableton First Baptist Church presented the musical celebration Hallelujah Amen. We were joined by the Kidzpraise Choir for four of the songs. Mike Anderson directed the celebration and we were accompanied by our band.

Rhonda Short was the soloist for the song "Holy Ground".

Eddie Goode was the soloist for the song "Worthy of Your Name".

This song, "Hallelujah, Amen" was the title song for the celebration. It got us to clapping our hands and moving a bit. The spirited song had rather unique lines like "mistreated, defeated, ... maybe you've been cheated, we're going to praise God anyway!"

The trio of Jennifer Goode, Bud Durand and Janet Vineyard did the number "Take All of Me" with the choir as backup.

We were joined on four of the songs by the Kidzpraise Choir. They rehearsed as a part of Awana under the direction of Heather Daniell and Kelly Thompson.

The first song with the children was "No One Greater" with Anna doing the solo.

The second song was a lively one titled "Love God, Love People, Amen!" and featured Gideon as soloist.

Nicole was the soloist for the fourth song with both the Celebration Choir and Kidzpraise. This song "The Lion and the Lamb" is a familiar favorite with the congregation, so Mike got the congregation to join on the last part of it.
