Mark on Movie Set

Rod walked over from Georgia State to visit Mark on a very large set which took up one of the huge warehouse areas of the World Congress Center.

This is a kind of wind-tunnel structure. It was always interesting to see how things were constructed to preserve access and sight lines for the cameras.

Rod inside the set of some kind of transportation device.

A curved steel staircase.

Part of a kind of stadium, again made from a lot of curved steel.

This enclosure had a lot of aluminum plate in its structure.

With all these metal structures and the steel supports above to stabilize them, there were a lot of welding arcs visible.

There were also locations for outside sets.

There certainly was a lot of metal in use.
