A little ice for the new year

After dire warnings all week about the coming ice and snow storm, we got a tiny sprinkling of snow and ice forming on the tree branches. It was enough to shut down school for a couple of days because the north part of the county got more snow and ice.
 | In Louisiana, Darla and the girls had to be a little more creative to find some ice. Darla took Ashleigh, Elyse and a friend to Baton Rouge to an ice rink, about 90 miles away.
