Grand Tetons

Wildflower on Signal Mountain

At the lowest overlook on Signal Mountain in Grand Teton Park, there were a lot of wildflowers and we got to see a grouse with two young ones. It believe this is the local variety of fireweed, although it seems quite different from what we saw in Alaska.

We had found yet another fabulous breakfast spot. We had our cereal and fresh fruit overlooking Jackson Lake and the Grand Tetons on a beautiful morning. August 23, 1982.
