We take this to be infant Dorothy with Mother, which would place the image in 1929. We have not been able to identify the setting.

This photo is dated 1929 by the infant Dorothy held by her Grandmother Susie E. Owsley. In back are Grandfather W A Owsley, Mother Naomi, Susie Owsley and Frank Owsley. In center is Edgar who would have been 6 years old. In front are Orvetta and Gertrude.
