Nativity Enactment, First Baptist Church, Mableton

This enactment of the Nativity was done in 1950 in the little red brick church building which was three buildings back from the sanctuary which is occupied as of this writing in 2007. Jesse and Sara Payne are Joseph and Mary. They were married in 1949. Sara was already active as pianist for the church. This drama was staged under the direction of Charles Boynton.

Zooming in on the manger, we have Jesse and Sara as Joseph and Mary. The first shepherd to the left of the manger is Joe Poole. We would like to identify more of the participants.
