Ice Storm!

It is unusual to see the Georgia Tech campus looking like this at any time during the year, and certainly unusual on March 30! A sudden ice storm paralyzed the campus and indeed the city of Atlanta.

We enjoyed exploring the area and seeing the rare ice formations. Snow and ice surrounded Peters Park at right and new growth was sheathed in ice.

Georgia Tech's Grant Field became a snowball battleground.
