Royal Ambassador Track Meet

April 10, 1982

The RAs of Mableton First Baptist participated in an RA track meet held on the track of South Cobb High School.

Mark, Lance Tucker, and Brett Skelton just after the gun at the start of the 440 yard run for 10-11 year olds.

Mark heads for the finish line in the 440 yard run. He finished Second overall in the 440 with a time of 77.4 while the remarkable William Aley blew away the field with a time of 64 s. For a 10 year old kid, that's amazing!

Mark takes a handoff from Reb Burnett in the 440 yd relay for 10-11 yr olds.

Mark takes off in the long jump. He placed Third with a jump of 11'9".

Mark is way out front in his heat of the 100 yd dash. He finished Third overall with a time of 14.5s.

Jeff and Rob Skelton as they start the 880 yard run. Rob won with a time of 2:29.4 and Jeff was second at 2:29.9

Jeff hands off to Randy Arnett, I think, in 440 relay.

Above, Mark hands off to Reb Burnett in the last heat of the 440 relay.

At left, Mark receives one of his ribbons from Julian Leroy, the West Metro Associational Missionary.

Jeff and Rob Skelton receive their ribbons from Al Rahn, who was assisting with the track meet.

Reb Burnett, Mark Nave, Lance Tucker, and Brett Skelton were ribbon winners for the younger RAs.
