Excretion

The systems of the body that are involved in excretion.

It is necessary for the body to rid itself of waste products and regulate the volume and composition of body fluids. These are the tasks of the excretory systems of the body. At right is a table the parts of the excretory system as outlined by Thibodeau and Patton.
