This sample of chalcosiderite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Chalcosiderite is a phosphate mineral of calcium and iron with the composition CaFe₆(PO₄)₄(OH)₈.4H₂O. The sample at left is about 14 cm across and is from Wheal Phoenix, Liskeard, Cornwall, England.
