CaFeSi₂O₆

Hedenbergite is a silicate of calcium and iron with composition CaFeSi₂O₆. This sample is about 20x15 cm and is from Nordmark,Sweden. It is on display at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

The small sample shown to the right is aegirine.
