Using Google to Search HyperPhysicsTo find the coverage of a specific term or phrase in HyperPhysics, you can make use of the domain constraint in Google to search only HyperPhysics. For example, if you want to find out what HyperPhysics has about eclipses, you can enter the following in Google's search window: You can then just click on Google search and it will give you a list of the occurences of this term or search string in the HyperPhysics domain. Many people have asked for a search feature in HyperPhysics. We have struggled to create a satisfactory one, hopefully one that would work both from the server and from the distributed CD version. But so far we have been unsuccessful. We are appreciative of the capability of Google and suggest this as a useful tool. We will continue to try to develop a search capability that can be distributed on the HyperPhysics CD. |
