This sample of chalcophyllite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Chalcophyllite contains copper and arsenic with the composition Cu₁₈Al₂((OH)₉,SO₄, AsO₄)₃.33H₂O. The sample at left is about 12 cm across.
