Technetium Nuclear Data
Technetium - 99 is produced by bombarding molybdenum 98Mo with neutrons. The resultant 99Mo decays with a half-life of 66 hours to a metastable state of Tc designated technetium-99m. It is a short-lived radioisotope which finds wide application in nuclear medicine for various types of scans.
