Altair

Altair, Alpha Aquilae, is a white main sequence star located at a distance of 16.73 light years from Earth in the constellation Aquila, the Eagle. With an apparent magnitude of 0.76, it is the brightest star in Aquila and the 12th brightest star in the sky. At a distance of 16.73 light years, Altair is one of the nearest stars to Earth visible to the naked eye. It's companions in the Summer Triangle are Deneb and Vega.
