New Orleans, Memorial Day Weekend

Sunday, May 30, 2004

Ashleigh and Jordan are up and ready for Sunday School. Rod read three books to them - they always like to be read to.

After reading there was a little time for horseplay, as much as we could get away with on Sunday morning.

Grandma Brenda gets a little time with the girls.

We went to Church on Sunday Morning and then out to lunch. We had a relaxing afternoon.

Jordan is in the church service on Sunday night because they are going to be recognized and receive awards for thier work in Awana.

Jordan has her Awana vest on, with pins and patches for the achievements in the Awana study. Jordan is a "Cubbie", and Darla is one of the leaders for that Awana group.

Ashleigh sits with a friend in church just before the Awana recognitions. Darla does part of the recognition presentation to the church.

The actual Awana awards are given out in the gym after the service. Jordan shows one of her awards.
