Sculpture in Coral This strange collection of hard and soft coral, sponges and tubeworm plumes made a neat sculpture. Tubeworm plumes atop a coral outcrop Sticking out the top of the piece of hard coral are tubeworm plumes. They were hard to photograph because at about 4 feet distance, they would just disappear as the tubeworms quickly pulled in their plumes at my approach. This particular spot had a wide variety of sea life. There are different kinds of sponges and hard and soft corals here. August 21, 1990	Index 1990 Scuba90
