July 1: Ferry to Dover, Up the Motorway

We had breakfast at the hotel and motored on toward North Wales. About Llangollen we started hitting the veautiful North Wales countryside. It was a beautiful sunny day and we reckoned that this North Wales scenery was about as pretty as any we had seen on the open road. We reached nome in Beaumaris about 2 PM. End mileage 66427. Old MO had carried us 4213 miles since we left Beaumaris on 26 May.

In the course of the journey Brenda wrote 59 postcards and 5 letters. Together we shot nearly 19 rolls of film including 11 on the Rectiflex, 6 in the Kodak, and 2 in the Voigtlander.
