Snow in Pearl River

On Thursday morning we got an excited call from Elyse to tell us that it was snowing hard at their house in Pearl River, Louisiana. It almost never snows there!

Jeff seized the opportunity to get a picture of the girls with swirling snowflakes to use on their Christmas cards. Later on Thursday we saw pictures on the news of an accumulation of snow in New Orleans. Having New Orleans white with snow, apparently a couple of inches of accumulation according to what we say, was enough to make the national newscasts.
