Elyse's 5th Birthday

Today is Elyse's 5th birthday, and although the big family celebration was going to be postponed until next Saturday, we had to have a small celebration today. Elyse helped Grandma Brenda make brownies for our celebration. Part of the celebration was getting to lick the spoon!

Elyse wanted to watch her Christmas movie, so we settled in for that. With Elyse in my lap, I realized how precious the time is when they are so young - it doesn't last long.

For our mini-celebration, Elyse got a very big brownie with five candles on it.
