Quito, Ecuador Trip

On Sunday we attended the churches in which we would be serving later in the week. Our church was Comite del Pueblo.

Comite del Pueblo group under shelter when the afternoon downpour came. They and one other group got so drenched that they went back to the Academy to change before supper.

On Wednesday the different crews went to the churches at which they had been originally planned to work. Jhanne's group served at La Quintana. Part of their ministry was at a house church on the side of the mountain. They had to climb a steep set of stairs on the mountainside to get to it, and that at an altitude of over 9000 feet as well!

Oksana from NorthShore was also part of the La Quintana crew. Below, she sits with this group of young children that they worked with.

We had recognition of Crew Leaders and other special contributions. Alex and Ashleigh were recognized for their part in the art instruction and art show.
