Ashleigh and Jordan's Arrival

Since Ashleigh and Jordan had classes through Tuesday, they flew up from New Orleans on Tuesday evening.

Jordan and Ashleigh took the Sienna van to the New Orleans Airport and parked it in longterm parking because they had plans to drive to Mandeville across the Causeway when they returned. They flew out of the new New Orleans Airport location, the first of the family to do so. In Atlanta, they took MARTA to the Holmes Station where Jeff, Darla and Marty picked them up.

They arrived at our house about 9:30pm and gathered around the kitchen bar, our standard greeting location lately.

It was a joy to have the whole family here together now so we hung around the kitchen and talked.

It was a wonderful time to stand around and talk. Note that part of the sharing was with pictures on their phones. Brenda is the only one that didn't have a phone, I think, and hers was not far away. We can indeed share a lot of things with our phones.
