Celebration of Wanda's Life

Wanda went to be with the Lord on September 16 in Vacaville, California. We traveled there on September 19, and joined the family at a graveside service and then a memorial service at Trinity Baptist Church on September 21.

Trinity Baptist Church of Vacaville was Wanda's church after moving to Vacaville to share the house with her daughter Becky. She was teaching a ladies Sunday School Class, and taught it up until weeks before her passing. That Sunday School class was present in the service and we were privileged to meet them and talk with several of them. One of the members of the class participated in the service with a statement of appreciation for Wanda and her service.

The ladies of Trinity Baptist Church prepared a meal for the family at 4:30pm on the day of the celebration service, so we had another opportunity to gather with the family there. We then moved to the Chapel for the Memorial Service.
