Christmas Trip to Pearl River

Mark came out, bringing breakfast, on December 21. With his help in loading up, Brenda and Rod left Atlanta at about 9AM and had an uneventful trip to Pearl River, reaching there about 4PM Louisiana time. We settled in to the room Jeff and Darla had prepared for us and immediately relaxed in that comfortable setting. It was the first time we and all Jeff's family had spent the night together in the house.

 | After a comfortable night's sleep in our new bed, I took the first pictures of the great room with its Christmas tree and decorations. Besides the decorations, there were a lot of final touches that made the area comfortable and beautiful. |
Friday was very busy with shopping and zipping about, so it was about 4pm before I got this picture of Brenda with Jordan. Jordan has become very accomplished with her knitting and the creation of soft shapes with the yarn. |

We got to have our breakfast in the big kitchen with Jeff, Darla, Jordan and Ashleigh. The ladies were prepared for shopping! |

 | I got to see (and hear!) the big yellow marine generator in the show as Jeff cranked it up for a test, powering the entire house for a time with it. |
After shopping, Jordan and Grandma Brenda gather in our room for gift wrapping. Note the place of honor for the created octopus! |
