After surviving the extreme cold of the Polar Plunge, we entered the new year calmly until January 12, when we had severe storms across Georgia.

An article by Sarah Wild about HyperPhysics was published in the online version of the journal Physics Today on February 7.

Jeff, Darla, and Elyse came to visit on February 17-20, a visit we call our Mardi Gras blessing, and everyone helped with the rebuilding of our storm-damaged fence.

The MFBC mission team provided supper for the Georgia Tech BCM on March 14. Since that is Rod's alma mater, he took along a set of representative pictures as a remembrance of the over 60 year fellowship with the alumni of the Georgia Tech "BSU" as it was known in those days.

We had our annual family celebration of Easter at MFBC on April 1.

Brenda and Rod attend a special celebration of HyperPhysics at Georgia State University on April 4.

The MFBC mission team again made a trip on April 11, this time to provide supper for the BCM at Georgia State University

MFBC members meeting and celebration of Becky's 25th Anniversary , April 23.

The Georgia Tech BSU alumni group gathers in Hiawassee on April 23 and begins with Sunday supper at Mary's. We then greatly enjoyed a Monday fellowship.

Brenda and Rod took a walk through the Rhododendron garden on Tuesday, April 25.

Luke Zell and Jordan Nave Wed at Joshua Tree National Park on April 28.

Elyse's graduation from Pearl River High School was on May 3.

We enjoyed a Graduation Party for Elyse on May 6.

Mother's Day was celebrated on May 14.

Awana Awards Night was celebrated on May 17 followed by the Awana Store.

The major celebration of marriage event with Luke and Jordan was held at the Radio Road location on July 1.

We enjoyed the South Cobb Class of 1959 reunion at the Freeman Poole Senior Center on September 16.

Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Alumni Day on October 20.

Trunk or Treat 2023 at Mableton Elementary School, October 27.

Family Thanksgiving celebration, November 18-23. All three girls and Luke arrived for Thanksgiving day and we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.

Christmas Party for Sunday School class, December 15.

We made the trip to Pearl River on December 21, enjoyed time at the Radio Road house with the family including Christmas morning. We enjoyed the traditional Christmas gathering at Grammy Moyle's. We stayed at Jeff and Darla's long enough to celebrate Elyse's birthday.
