South Cobb Class of 1959 Reunion

Rod and Brenda enjoyed gathering with Brenda's high school graduating class for an afternoon lunch and time of fellowship. This was the 64thAnniversary celebration of her South Cobb High School graduation in 1959. It was at the Freeman Poole Senior Center. There were 21 Graduates of 1959 and about thirty total in attendance. Reunions were held in 1979 , 1994, 1999 , 2009, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, and the last reunion was the 63rd in 2022.

Brenda Duncan Nave, Ronald Pittman (Ann's younger brother), Ann Pittman Frazier. Brenda's and Ann's families were close friends. Brenda remembers Ann's Mother calling her Mother when she found out that she was pregnant with Ronald.

Ann and Brenda started first grade together at Riverside School and were in the same class all the way to graduating from South Cobb High School together.

After a time of visiting, we settled in for a lunch from Wallace Barbecue.

After lunch, Zandra presided and led us through a 1959 memory game. After that we did the group photos shown above and then returned to fellowship some more.
