Visiting with Jeff, Darla and the Family

After the enjoyable gathering at the Moyles, we returned to Jeff and Darla's home for more games and relaxation.

Around 6pm, Jeff and family settled on the floor for a round of the boardgame that had come as a Christmas gift.

A comfortable time at home with game playing.

They moved from the board game to the game which Jordan had created. My understanding was that she had modified and greatly expanded an existing game, creating new settings and situations relevant to family interests. Anyway, they seemed to enjoy it as a relaxing end to a busy and enjoyable family Christmas.

Tuesday, December 26

At the end of our last day with the family, we took Elyse out to celebrate her 19th birthday. One of her comments was that this was the last year we would have a teenager in the family.

On Wednesday, December 27 we were joined by Ashleigh for the drive back to Atlanta. Ashleigh shared the driving and we made a trouble-free trip home. We enjoyed two days of visiting with Ashleigh as she helped Brenda put away Christmas material and organize things in the attics. The visit gave us the opportunity for interesting discussions about her experience in Medical School and for she and Brenda to have conversations about the practice of medicine in general. We took Ashleigh to the Atlanta Airport on Friday, Dec 29.
