GSU Retiree Recognition Breakfast

On January 23, Georgia State University had a very nice breakfast honoring the retirees for the previous year. Rod formally retired August 1, 2005, but had to leave this retirees breakfast to go teach a lab.

Rod gets a handshake from GSU President Carl Patton. It was a nice occasion with a nice statement read for each retiree.

The breakfast was held in the lobby of the Realto Theater. Brenda and Rod drove in early in a downpour of rain to the breakfast, but luckily got a parking spot just across the street.
