Jeff is Promoted to Full Professor

Spring, 2014

Jeff called us at some time during the spring to tell us that he had just been notified of his promotion to the Professor rank. This list of faculty promotions was published in the Spring/Summer 2014 issue of the seminary's Vision.

We are of course very proud of his promotion and the breadth of ministry activities that he and Darla and the family are involved in. I thought it interestingly coincidental that the promotion was announced in this issue of Vision with Cuba on the cover. From my perspective, I see promotions as something enabling him to pursue creative initiatives and to pursue with whole heart the distinctive call he feels God has given him. A couple of horizon-expanding opportunities he has had were the course he got to teach at the Cuba seminary and the trip to Israel with the faculty some time ago.
