Turkey in Back Yard

At about 5pm in the afternoon, we were amazed to see this wild turkey wander up the driveway and walk into the back yard. I stood watching her, and of course ran for the camera, but she didn't seem particularly alarmed. She walked across the back yard to the back feeder and pecked and scratched around under it.

After watching her for ten minutes or so, I went inside. She was gone when I came out a few minutes later. Brenda thought she heard her gobbling the next day, but we haven't seen her since.

In nearly 51 years of living here, we have never seen a wild turkey here before.
