Jeff Feeds a Two-toned Squirrel

Jeff enjoyed the tame two-toned squirrels as we walked the Bright Angel Trail. The remarkable collection of switchbacks called the Bright Angel Trail descends from Grand Canyon Village on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. August 7, 1982.

Two-toned Squirrel

Jeff enjoyed the tame two-toned squirrels as we walked the Bright Angel Trail. We were fascinated by these unique squirrels. It looks like it has on a pair of furry britches - you half expected to see tiny suspenders. August 7, 1982.

Sharing Lunch with a Friend

Jeff was glad to share his lunch with this already overly-fat squirrel. I wondered what the squirrel did for water. The heat and the cactus reminded us that we were in a desert region. This was on the remarkable collection of switchbacks called the Bright Angel Trail that descends from Grand Canyon Village on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. August 7, 1982.
