Chapel in the Tetons

This little chapel in the Tetons certainly had a unique setting. Inside it had a window in front which framed the rugged peaks of the Tetons.

Called the Chapel of the Transfiguration, it was built in 1925 near Menor's Ferry, which was then the center of activity in central Jackson Hole. Regular Sunday services are held in the chapel and many weddings are performed there. August 23, 1982.
