R. O. Owsley, Jr.

R. O. Owsley, Jr. was in the Navy while Edgar was in France. He went into the Navy in late 1943 and went to the Great Lakes for basic training. He and Dorothy were married in 1944 when he came home from basic training. He was stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas and New Orleans and then was shipped out to the South Pacific, spending most of his time in the Phillipines.
