How to Make a Cake, with Jeff

Making a cake was a familiar, and not overly demanding task for Brenda. But what if you had to deal with 2 year-old Jeff and 6-month old Mark at the same time? That scenario led to this description of how to make a cake for a recipe book published by Mableton First Baptist Church.

The Women's Missionary Union of Mableton First Baptist had the idea of publishing a cookbook of their favorite recipes. This was Brenda's contribution to it. It was actually published in 1998.

In retrospect, we would have to say that both the cake and the boy turned out fine!
