Family Gathering at Bent Tree

Out for a walk on Chestnut Cove Trail, we encountered this baby groundhog near Mac Stancil's house.

Andy and Mark have a closer look at the youngster before releasing him down the hill into the woods.

We went down to the lake to fish a bit, and Mark was pleased to bring in this nice bream.

While fishing at the lake, we found this black snake in the leaves near the lake. He was not particularly alarmed and let me get quite close to him.
