Benzedrine

Benzedrine is a synthetic amine which is one of the class of compounds called amphetamines. It is a powerful stimulant to the central nervous system. Amphetamines act to raise the level of glucose in the blood, reducing the feeling of fatique and curbing the appetite. They have been medically used for diet control and weight loss, but are dangerously addictive. Side effects are insomnia and paranoia.
