Progress at the Property

December 26-29, 2022

These are a few views of progress at the house that we hadn't seen before. We spent time hanging out there with Jeff and Darla during the four days we were there. We had not seen the nice refrigerator before, and the tile trim above the countertop was new to us.

The great room was an area of major progress. Jeff and Darla had finished the ceiling covering with the revolution ply, had painted and trimmed it, and the array of lights had been added.

The side double-door had been installed, trimmed, and painted. The furnace housing had been trimmed and painted and a finished grill installed.

Looking back toward the kitchen, you can appreciate the great expanse of painted and trimmed ceiling and the array of lights which has been installed. The door on the left leads to the pantry and you can see Darla, who is in the process of painting that pantry room.

Brenda examines some of the nice cabinets in the kitchen area. The refrigerator and nice gas range have been installed.

Brenda examines the kitchen sink. You can see the range behind her, and the corner of the dishwasher on her right.

Just one sample of the enormous progress that has been made with the tile work. They have been pleased to find an excellent tile man, and this is part of the shower in the suite they are building for us.

As probably the last construction project of 2022 by the amazing ceiling team of Jeff and Darla, the revolution ply material has been used to cover the front hall ceiling.

They travel together on the moving lift to place the sheets of material and then use an air gun to fasten to the ceiling. They cut the sheets to size using the 3-phase table saw before getting them up to the ceiling using the lift to reach the 12 foot ceiling.
