Awana at Mableton First Baptist

This is our first Awana session of the new school year, and is celebrated with the coming of the Kona Ice van with icy treats for everyone. The introductory game gets the children ready.

We started with a bingo-type scripture game.

We had a good group including one new member.

We congratulated one new member who had recited John 3:16 and earned his Sparks vest.

The cup stacking game is always a lot of fun for a starter of the Awana session.

It is always a blessing to see the happiness of the children.

The marble maze is also popular as a starting game.

This year we are asking a new student each week to lead the pledges. We have done information sheets about their favorite items, and use this time to learn a bit more about them.

It was a good night for awards for scripture memorization. Two from Sparks and three from T&T received advancement awards.
