Granddaughters' Activities

We always make our granddaughters one of the subjects of our morning prayers, and always enjoy hearing from them about their activities. Ashleigh is in her rotations through medical areas as she approaches graduation from LSU Medical School. Jordan is now a director of some parts of a gymnasium program and is taking three courses at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She sees her Dad on campus occasionally. Elyse is in her freshman year of a program in Environmental Engineering at LSU Baton Rouge.

Besides working on an intense freshmen engineering background series of courses, Elyse participated in a drama production. This was reminiscent of her drama experiences at Pearl River High School.

Ashleigh made the trip over to Baton Rouge to observe Elyse in the play, and I'm guessing this is one of her photos from the audience. I'll have to check out all the details.

Ashleigh had driven over to Baton Rouge to visit with Elyse and to attend the drama.

We understood that Jeff and Darla drove over the following day to see Elyse's drama.

At spring break time, Elyse and all the members of her suite at LSU Baton Rouge joined Jeff and Darla for a trip to Gulf Shores. They rented a van for the trip so that all of them could travel together.

We were delighted to receive this beautiful portrait of Ashleigh, Elyse, and Jordan on Easter Sunday. After church they gathered at Grammy Judy's for Sunday dinner.

This was described as a blind easter egg hunt. Jordan with eggs. Guessing from the red hair, this looks like Elyse's roommate Kelly.

Hmm! Is she finding an egg or hiding one?

Jordan has upped the ante from the 5K and 10K races and made the trip to Pensacola to run in the Gulf Coast Half Marathon!
