Carl Nave and Speer Family

Carl Nave is becoming a part of the Owsley/Speer family with his marriage to Naomi Owsley. At back above is Edward Speer, Marus E. Speer, Carl Nave. Marcus Haden Speer and Edward Speer, Jr stand in front of them, and Billy Speer is on the back of Herbert Speer. Uncle Herbert was apparently as popular with the children of that generation as he was with me and my brothers and sisters in the next generation. Edward Jr and Billy are the sons of Edward Speer.

This is Reginald Owsley and Carl Nave with Carl holding Sheldon Owsley on his shoulder. Sheldon appears to be about 16 and was born in 1904, so the estimated date of 1920 comes from that.
