Family Meal in Woodland

After the graveside service, a number of us proceeded to Woodland for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. It was only a couple of miles east into Woodland.

It was good to get to go our to eat with John's family. Danielle, Dasha, John and Mary occupy the end of our long table.

With Brenda on this side were Vanessa and Bob Hobson and Chris Davidson.

On the other side were Logan, Julie, Carley, then Roy's family with little Kylie.

It was the children who were the stars of the show. And I have to confess to some favoritism, because little Carley was just so friendly and open and beautiful that she stole my heart immediately.

Then Carley and tiny Kylie got interested in each other, and it was even more fun!

They entertained not only themselves, but all of us for a while. It was a good time of fellowship after the Celebration Service.

Fellowship Meal at Trinity Baptist Church, Vacaville

The Memorial Service was scheduled for 6pm at Trinity Baptist Church, Vacaville, where Wanda had been a member since 2014. The ladies of the church had prepared a meal for the family at 4:30pm before that service.

We got there a bit early and were just clowning around with Wanda, Danny, Dennis and Kim. The ladies had prepared a very nice supper for us, and it gave us a good time of family fellowship before the service. We also got to meet Wanda's pastor, Greg Davidson.

We had a good time with food and fellowship, and I got involved in both of those and didn't take any more pictures. After the meal, they escorted us just down the hall to the Chapel of the church for the Memorial Service.
