Awana at Mableton First Baptist

Our Awana award ceremony presents one Sparks award and one T&T award for Scripture memory.

We started this Awana session with a bingo-type game.

The girls did seem to get some enjoyment out of the process, and so did the rest of us.

For new members of Awana, there is the awarding of the vest for their first group of Bible verses memorized and quoted.

This was a good night for awards for scripture memorization. Two from Sparks and four from T&T received advancement awards.

Each week a student is chosen to lead the pledges. Everyone was enthusiastic about our smallest Awana leading the pledges.

With each new group of Scriptures recited comes advancement and new jewels on the vest. Those are presented in our opening ceremony.

It is good to see the excitement of the students as they advance in being able to recite verses from the Bible.
