The beginning of the main roof replacement, Radio Road

After the preparation of the front porch roof, the main roofing was undertaken.

The old shingles have been removed from the back part of the house in preparation for putting on new shingles.

The sealing undercoat layer has been completed on the back side of the house. That's a lot of shingles stacked by the building!

The roof appears to be prepared for the adding of the shingles. The roof turrets have been removed in favor of peak vents as is common current practice.

This was certainly something to celebrate. The custom-designed and built porch on the front of the house with a new roof that connects smoothly to the roof of the main house.

It is a pleasure to see both the main house with porch and the shed with brand new shingle roofs.
